Introduction
On this website, you can find a comparison between Iceland and Malta. Two completely different countries but with also a few similarities. What these similarities are? You'll find it here!
Iceland
Iceland is an island, a European country, located midway between North America and mainland Europe. It lies just below the Arctic Circle between 64 and 66 degrees north. The capital of Iceland is Reykjavik. It is the northern most capital in the world and is located exactly halfway between New York and Moscow. There are several daily non-stop flights to Iceland from North America and Europe. Flights land at Keflavik International Airport (48 km from Reykjavik). Iceland is very special and we do not hear much about it. Yet many travelers go to Iceland to see the hotspots there. It is really worth it!
Malta
The island of Malta is a small independent nation state that is located in the centre of the Mediterranean in Europe. It is the EU’s smallest member state. The size of Malta’s population is roughly 400,000 whilst its geographical size is limited to around 316 square kilometres and as a result, Malta ranks highly on the list of most densely populated countries in the world. The capital city of Malta is Valleta, we'll tell you more about this city in one of the subjects.
